Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes. Order by 2pm Monday to Friday, or by 12 noon on Saturday, for same-day delivery across Barnstaple and the surrounding areas. We deliver six days a week, but not on Sundays.
Where do you deliver, and how much is it?
We hand deliver across Barnstaple and the surrounding areas, including Fremington, Landkey, Braunton, Georgeham, Croyde, Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, Bideford, Appledore, Westward Ho! and Torrington. Delivery is £6.50 in and around Barnstaple and £7.50 or £9.95 further out, and checkout shows the exact price for your postcode. We send bouquets to the rest of the UK by courier for £7.50; funeral tributes are delivered locally. For international orders, please get in touch.
What time will my flowers arrive?
Local deliveries are made between 9am and 6pm. We can't offer a specific time for gift deliveries. Wedding flowers are delivered at a time we work out with you, and funeral tributes 2 hours before the funeral time. Please make sure the address is up to date and specific, and leave a contact number in case we have any questions.
What happens if nobody is in?
We'll try a neighbouring address, or leave the flowers in a dry, safe place and put a calling card through the door saying where they are. If that isn't possible, we'll take the flowers back and try again the next working day, or you can collect them. Let us know when you order if you'd rather we didn't leave them with a neighbour.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. Choose collection at checkout and pick your flowers up from the shop at 8 Butchers Row, Barnstaple, EX31 1BW.
How long will my flowers last?
We guarantee our flowers for 6 days for hard stems, such as roses and lilies, and 5 days for soft stems, such as gerberas and stocks. If anything isn't right, we offer a collect and replace service. Every flower gift comes with flower food and a care card, and our Freshness Guarantee page has more care tips.
Do you make funeral flowers?
Yes. We make casket sprays, wreaths, hearts, crosses, letter tributes, sprays and posies. We need the funeral time and name to deliver your tribute correctly. We deliver 2 hours before the funeral time, and we contact the funeral director to confirm the date and time.
How do I book a wedding consultation?
It's easy, and it's free: give us a call on 07497 455756, or email us. Appointments last at least 30 minutes, so please bring some inspiration pictures with you. We can deliver and set up at your venue (delivery and set-up charges apply), and we deliver bridal flowers too, or you can collect.
Is it safe to send lilies?
Lilies are delivered in bud to guarantee freshness. We don't recommend sending them to a household with a cat, as lilies are poisonous to cats.
I have an allergy. Can you help?
Please call us on 07497 455756 before you order. We can't guarantee that any of our flowers are free of allergens, and some flowers may be harmful or poisonous.
Do you run workshops?
Yes. Kyle leads a wreath workshop at Nellie's Coffee Bar, 11 Gammon Walk, Barnstaple, on Saturday 28 November 2026 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, with drinks and nibbles included. Tickets are on Eventbrite: search for "Wreath workshop with Fletchers Flowers".
